I'm Getting Ready Lyrics

Ann Nesby:
I can hear
Church bells tolling
I can hear
Saints a singing
I can see
See hurst wheel rollin
Somebody's leavin
The world of toil and strife
I've realized
That surely and eventually
We're gonna leave
This old world behind, yes we are
Thats why Im makin
Oh yes I am, makin preparations
Hey, to meet the LordChoir:
To meet(Hey)the LordAnn Nesby:
A woman came to me one day

She said "Sally, Ive got somethin' to tell you now"
She said "Im not ready, Im not ready to give up my wicked ways"
She said "Everytime, everytime, everytime I make a step toward the kingdom,
That mean ol' Satan, that mean old Satan, He give me a hard foot in the eye, Hey yeah"
I told that woman
I told that woman
"How could you hold out any longer?
When you see that Jesus, Jesus
He loves you so?"
Then I heard her say "Im gettin ready, Im gettin ready, Im gettin ready to meet the Lord"Choir:
To meet(Ann Nesby: Oh yes I am, oh yes I am)the Lord
(Then I heard her testify)
(Im gettin ready)
Get ready
(Gettin ready)
Get ready
(Oh yes I am)
Get ready
(Yes I am)
Get ready
(Oh yall Im gettin ready)
Get ready
(Everyday of my life)
Get ready
(Im gettin ready)
Get ready
(Oh yes I am)
Get ready
(Im cracking up yall)
Get ready
(Im gettin ready)
Get ready
(Finally ready)
Get ready
(Are you ready?)
Get ready
(Im gettin ready)
Get ready
(Im gettin ready)
Get ready
(Im gettin ready)
Get ready
(Oh yes I am, to meet the Lord)
