I'm Gonna Fight For You J.B. Lyrics

I'm gonna fight for you, J.B.
Your passing made so many cry
I'm gonna fight for you, J.B.
Your passing made so many cryBut you are resting now from struggle
Up in God's land beyond the skyWell, I believe you got a bad deal
And that's something I want put right
I believe you got a bad deal
And that's something I want put rightWell, I wanna people hear your blues
And keep them thinking day and nightWell, you are born in Mississippi
And now you're laid to rest out there
You were born in Mississippi
And now you're laid to rest out thereBut I'm gonna fight for you, J.B.
I want your blues out everywhere

John Mayall (born November 29, 1933) is a pioneering English blues singer, songwriter, guitarist, keyboard player and harmonica player. John Mayall is often referred to as the "Father of the British blues." His well-known band is still called John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers. They started out in the late 1950s in England, using Chicago style blues as a starting basis for their sound, which has evolved from album to album. And while at one point John Mayall was playing a fairly jazzy sound, he has always come back to the blues.
