Emerging artist Prince Malik is no stranger to developing his versatile talents into a budding successful career. Achieving his first bachelor degree in Journalism where he expanded his love and talent for writing, Malik then decided to explore another educational path of interest – medicine. After working his way through school, he succeeded in achieving a Master Degree and a Doctorate in the field. Aside from this career track, he has also become licensed in some of his favorite hobbies – a licensed pilot to fly a helicopter, certified skydiver, and scuba diver. Now looking to tap into his passion for performing and music, Malik is ready to burst onto the scene with his unique sound, talent and song writing ability.
His music career began with his organic love for writing. He then learned how to piece well-expressed words together with even more meaningful sounds and melodies. He looks for his music and lyrics to share a glimpse into his life for his listeners and fans. Malik’s first single “Billionaire” features good friend and world champion boxer Zab Judah, along with hip hop icon Jim Jones. Malik is quickly making his mark on scene, dubbing him the new artist to collaborate with, attracting names including Juelz Santana, Fabolous, Lumidee, Lil Mama, Young Joc, Fat Joe, and “Making the Band” winner, Day 26.
Born and raised in New York alongside a large family of 7 brothers and a sister, Malik is heavily influenced by the unfortunate early passing of one of his elder brothers which was cataclysmic in his life, pushing him to live each moment to the fullest – valuing education and looking to build upon experiencing an array of new things life has to offer. His musical career is the next phase of fulfilling a passion and innate talent that has yet to come to full fruition.
Malik will be releasing his debut album under the newly created label, Prince Malik Records, in early 2011. To learn more about Malik, please visit www.princemalikrecords.com. Read more on Last.fm.
