I'm Sorry, Baby, But You Can't Stand In My Light A Lyrics

I'm sorry baby but you can't stand in my light anymore
You're moving back to the shadows
I can't fight this anymoreI tried to heal you and I tried to fix you
I tried to show you compassion
I tried to listen, I tried to love you even though you were brokenI let you get up close to me, I let you feel the warm and the calm
And you resisted, it took me time to notice
But now I see the shadows as they fallI always find the broken ones, what does this say about me?
Maybe I'm the broken one, maybe when the lights go down
Maybe I'm the one who feels lonelyI'm sorry baby but you can't stand in my light anymore
You're moving back to the shadows
I can't fight you anymoreHate to leave you standing in the corner on your own
But you can't feel the sun unless you open up your heart, yeah
Oh, I'm sorry babyI'm sorry baby, I'm sorry baby
I'm sorry baby, I'm sorry baby
I'm sorry baby, you can't stand in my light anymore
