I'm a Real Man Lyrics

Im a real man, I got a real guitar
Im a real man, dont even know where the boys are
Dont want to frighten you little girl, youre so sweet and nice
Dont want to have to tell you twiceIm a real man
Im goin to rock like a real man
Dont get no shock from that elevator music computer program
Howd you like to rock with a real man?Yes Im a real man, baby, Im not lyin
Im thirty-four years old now and I still dont mind dyin
You can put the voodoo on me, girl
Theres nothin' I cant dodge
Just check out this roller in my garageKids, these days, Im talkin about these young folk
About as wild as Pollyanna after she growed up
After a hard day at the Casiotone they just dont want to live
Theyre about as dangerous as a junior executiveIm a real man
Im goin to rock like a real man
Dont get no shock from that elevator music in your computer program
Howd you like to rock with a real man?Every dollar I earn, girl, I let it all burn
And if I wind up in jail

Theres only one of 2672 women that I know
Who would gladly pay my bailNow you might say, Im just some fool on a boast
But I wasnt gonna hear ya girl from coast to coast
This aint damn rather talkin, this aint the Presidents son
Im still gonna have my funIm a real man
Im goin to rock like a real man
Dont get no shock from that elevator music in your computer program
Howd you like to rock with a real man?Turn off that elevator music in your computer program
Howd you like to rock with a real man?
Turn off that elevator music in your computer program
Come on and rock with a real man

Dr. Feelgood are a British pub rock band, formed in 1971. The classic line-up included Lee Brilleaux (b. 1953, d. 7 April 1994; vocals/harmonica), Wilko Johnson (b. John Wilkinson, 1947; guitar), John B. Sparks (b. 1953; bass) and John 'The Big Figure' Martin (drums). Initially based in Canvey Island, Essex, on the Thames estuary, Dr. Feelgood broke into the London circuit in 1974. Brilleaux's menacing personality complemented Johnson's propulsive, jerky stage manner, while the guitarist's staccato style dominated the group's idiosyncratic brand of angular rhythm and blues.
