In The End Lyrics

Help me to see
What it's all coming to
Crumbs on the table
And mud on these shoes
Treading so long
I can't see where we've been
Tracks on the trail
And nails digging in
Who's to say it's all for the best in the end
Some hands will rob you
And some hands will beg
Some say they'll stay
Til the last dying day
But if actions can't speak
And words cannot do
What ten thousand armies
Can't even fight through

Who's to say it's all for the best in the end
Who's to say it's all for the best in the end

Sparrow Carrera was an enigmatic figure in southern United States psychedelic pop throughout the 1960's and into the 1970's. He was the host of a short-lived public access television show in Montgomery County, Alabama and sometimes appeared in local rodeos and destruction derbies. Primarily, though, he was known as a pop icon. His career came to a mysterious and unexpected end when he vanished from his home in 1973. He left in his stead several annotated copies of The New York Post and a mostly-full bag of salted sunflower seeds.
