Into the Sun Lyrics

Yellow bricks raining down on the avenues
All ablaze
Reminds me of another time
And leaves me longing for those summer days
So bury me at Seven Dials
So my soul can never find its way
Back to where I kissed you
While my good intentions led your heart astray
Cos when it goes, it goes
Fly into the sun, let me burn and turn to vapour
I thought I'd found the one
But now I'm not so sure
Erase all trace of me til I'm just a piece of paper
I placed my faith in something
That I cannot believe in anymore
See the leaves falling down
Nothing's worth a second try
Maybe in another time

I'd jump a train and start somewhere new
Make a start in a bright new town
Leave behind my roving eye
A new career and you could be all mine
And you could trust me like I trust you
'Cos when you know, you know
Fly into the sun, let me burn and turn to vapour
I thought I'd found the one
But now I'm not so sure
Erase all trace of me til I'm just a piece of paper
I placed my faith in something
That I cannot believe in anymore
