Io Lyrics

One more white the other dressed in red
One invincible and the other fell down and bled
One to touch your face the other to wipe the sweat
One to know your name and the other not just yetOne day calm broke the silence
I heard my voice in the audience
And it said, "Look at my face"
One day calm broke the silence
I wear my nerves on the outside
Hide them under, hide them under
Hide them under myThere's no one out there, I know
Her eyes were gleaming in I.O.
And I'm still breathing on my own
The thoughts are leaving one by oneOne stood by while the other came and went
The other flew away so she couldn't fall out again
One to let you know the other to make you wait
Worlds across the fence and they're traveled every dayOne day calm broke the silence
I heard my voice in the audience
And it said, "Look at my face"

One day calm broke the silence
I wear my nerves on the outside
Hide them under, hide them under
Hide them under myOne day calm broke the silence
I heard my voice in the audience
Hide them under, hide them under
One day calm broke the silence
I heard my voice in the audience
Hide them under, hide them under
One day calm broke the silence
I wear my nerves on the outside
Hide them under, hide them under
Hide them under myThere's no one out there, I know
Her eyes were gleaming in I.O.
And I'm still breathing on my own
The thoughts are leaving one by one

There are three bands with the artist name Brazil: 1. Brazil was a six-man progressive punk group based in Muncie, Indiana. Brazil's style was at the same time psychedelic and intense in nature, conjuring up delicious imagery of sinister sci-Fi scenery with perhaps a dash of post-modernist philosophy thrown in for extra flavor. The band was originally called "London". When learning that London had been the name of the first incarnation of Motley Crue, they then changed name to Brazil, staying on a geographic theme (also inspired by from Terry Gilliam's 1985 sci-Fi movie of the same name).
