Irony Is Thick Lyrics

Stepped over clothes, evidence of a late night fast food binge
I threw on the same blue jeans just to do it all again
For now these are the days
I push through the crowds to make my wayI'd feel a little better if I could steal a minute
Push me right back or somewhere towards the middle
I know I've been a little left of center
These self-righteous thoughts burn inside my head againAre you there because the irony is thick
The things that make me happy are the things
The things that make me sickBuried my phone, I don't think I'm going to show my face
I called into work today, I'm a hopeless waste of space
For now, these are the days
I pray for the clouds and pull the shadesI'd feel a little better if I could steal a minute
Push me right back or somewhere towards the middle
I know I've been a little left of center
These self-righteous thoughts burn inside my head againAre you there because the irony is thick
The things that make me happy are the things that make me sickAnd I've been worried about you
Being worried about me
Now I'm worried about meAre you there because the irony is thick

The things that make me happy are the same things
The things that make me sickI'd feel a little better if I could steal a minute
Push me right back or somewhere towards the middle
I know I've been a little left of center
These self-righteous thoughts burn inside my head againAre you there because the irony is thick
The things that make me happy are the things that make me sick

Big 10-4, the energetic modern rock quartet based out of Orlando, Florida have taken on the challenge of winning over fans one by one.

Over the course of the past two years they've grown from college dives to 500 capacity sellouts in Orlando, Gainesville and first dibs on opening slots for touring acts at House of Blues. You can sit back and indulge in the waves of remiscent melodies and piano-scapes on tracks like "Oxygen" and "Tangled". Or step up to the front of the stage and have your brow blown back by the immediacy of "Walking Disaster" and "Long Night (Sleepless)." The daring word play and brain swelling melodies will conjure visual soundtracks of those late nights of drinking, women and figuring out what life is all about.

Having signed with Universal Records (3 Doors Down/Jack Johnson/Godsmack) in the Summer of 2005, they recently wrapped "Testing The Atmosphere" with Matt Wallace(Maroon 5, Train) and are setting up it's March 2006 release with the single "Walking Disaster" at regional radio.

Look for them to be routing through the Southeast in conjunction with the release of "Testing The Atmosphere".
