It Came Upon a Midnight Clear Lyrics

It came upon the midnight clear
That glorious song of old
From angels bending near the earth
To touch their harps of gold
Still through the cloven skies they come
With peaceful wings unfurled
And still their heavenly music floats
O'er all the weary world
Peace on the earth, goodwill to men
From heavens all gracious King
The world in solemn stillness lay
To hear the angels sing
Hear the angels sing
Peace on the earth, goodwill to men
From heavens all gracious King
The world in solemn stillness lay
To hear the angels sing
Heavenly angels sing, sing

Hear the angels sing
Heavenly angels sing, sing, sing
Hear the angels
Heavenly angels sing, sing
(Hear the angels sing)
Heavenly angels sing, sing
Hear the angels sing
(Heavenly angels)
Heavenly angels sing, sing
On a midnight clear
Heavenly angels sing, sing
(Heavenly angels)
Heavenly angels sing, sing
Heavenly angels sing, sing
(Heavenly angels)

The Red West is a modern rock quartet hailing from southern California. It all began in 2001, when college students Jayson Belt and Andy Smith started writing songs together in their dorm room. Soon the project expanded to include drummer Ryan Gleason and bassist Matt Bathancourt, and the band began gigging in and around Orange County. Their eponymous, self released debut found support among California's thriving surf community.
