It Hurts Lyrics

Well I never thought I could feel this way,
I feel so alive I know it's cliche,
My heart's on my sleeve like a tattoo,
You make me believe forever is you,
Cause you're not just someone,
You're someone like me,
Someone to share all my hopes and my dreams,
You're all that I am,
And all I believe,
You're everything that I need. But it hurts when you're close to me,
And it hurts when I watch you leave,
And it hurts from the things I feel,
That's how I know this love is real cause it hurts. And time could never touch this,
Cause love conquers all just like a kiss from an
angel's lips,
Though sometimes I break I stumble fall,
But you'll be the one to catch me through it all,
You're someone I dreamed and it's made me complete,

Now I can't go without you're the drug that I need,
And I'll never come down down from this cloud,
I won't let my feet touch the ground. But it hurts when you're close to me,
And it hurts when I watch you leave,
And it hurts from the things I feel,
That's how I know that this love is real cause it
hurts.When you love someone,
More than yourself when it's all said and done,
You're here or you're gone and I don't know what's
worse cause it hurts,
When you're close to me,
And it hurts when I watch you leave. But it hurts when you're close to me,
And it hurts when I watch you leave,
And it hurts from the things I feel,
That's how I know this love is real. But it hurts when you're close to me,
And it hurts when I watch you leave,
And it hurts from the things I feel,
That's how I know this love is real cause it hurts. That's how I know cause it hurts,
That's how I know cause it hurts,
This love is real cause it hurts,
Yeah that's how I know cause it hurts...

CINDER ROAD knows how to push the right buttons and tug on the heartstrings to win over the masses. Playing their radio friendly collection of songs equally matched by their charismatic chemistry, this band merges old school rock sensibility with a modern, pop metal approach — underscored by a unique flavor of attitude and presence reminiscent of the 80s arena rock era. Neighbors Mike Ruocco and Chris Shucosky formed the band as kids, taking the name of their own street as soon as they learned how to play.
