It's All Behind Us Now Lyrics

I spent my whole life thinking
Oh, that there could not be
Anyone in this world
Who'd show me they care
Who'd really be there to love meNow you're holding me
And I see in your eyes
That you've been lonely too babyWe've been all alone on our own for so long
But it's all behind us
The words no one heard when we sang our sad song
Well it's all behind us nowEvery time I looked for love
It looked the other way
Now love has turned around
It's smiling at me
Now someone loves me
All the nights in the moonlight
With no one to hold me
Take a good look at us baby! We've been all alone on our own for so long
But it's all behind us

The words no one heard when we sang our sad song
Well it's all behind usEvery dream is coming true
Now that I am holding you near
Happiness without an end
I feel alive again
Suddenly I can not even remember whenWe were all alone on own for so long
But it's all behind us
The words no one heard when we sang our sad song
Well, it's all behind us now
