It's Obvious Lyrics

Mmm..
She puts her jacket on
Walks through the door once more
To her surprise it seems
This time, she's lost for words
He's on her mind againShe walks five blocks to work
It's cold this time of year
But she don't mind the cold
'Cause she is thinkin' of him, baby, baby
He's on her mind againAnd all the way from talkin' on the phone
To the way I always carry on
When I'm with you[CHORUS:]
Baby what I feel for you (Baby)
It's obvious (It's obvious)
And baby, everytime I'm lookin' at you (Lookin' at you, baby)
It's obvious ('Bout the way I feel for you)He opened up to love, in spite of everything
First thought of every 'morn, it's always been the same
She's on his mind again

And from the little cafe outside her work
He sits and with a smile, he know's he's hurt[CHORUS:]
Baby what I feel for you (What I feel for you, baby)
It's obvious (Obvious, you know, you know)
And baby, everytime I'm lookin' at you (Baby, everytime)
It's obvious (Obvious, Baby you know)[CHORUS:]
Baby what I feel for you (What I feel for you, baby)
It's obvious (You know I feel for you)
And baby, everytime I'm lookin' at you (Baby, you know)
It's obvious ('Bout the way I feel, for you)You light the fire within my heart
Boy you know you do
Every single time that you touch me
Boy I feel it too
I feel for you[CHORUS:]
Baby what I feel for you (Ohhh.. Oh.. Oh...)
It's obvious (Obvious, you know)
And baby, everytime I'm lookin' at you (Baby)
It's obvious (You know, ohh..)[CHORUS:]
Baby what I feel for you (What I feel for you)
It's obvious (Oh, ohh..)
And baby, everytime I'm lookin' at you
It's obvious

The Au Pairs were a post-punk band who formed in Birmingham, UK in 1979. Musically they were very similar to bands such as Ludus, Gang of Four and Delta 5. That is, the rhythm section was tight and funky (obvious influences were James Brown and Funkadelic), but the guitars were light and "scratchy" (like Subway Sect). All these bands shared a strongly left wing social outlook, but the Au Pairs stood out due to their frontwoman, Lesley Woods, being an outspoken feminist and lesbian: the band were greatly influential in this respect on the riot grrrl movement a decade later.
