Jonestown Lyrics

Sheep are running scared tonight
The cows are coming home
They cling together terrified
Afraid to be aloneThe bees are buzzing around their queen
Waiting for a word
The [Incomprehensible] are [Incomprehensible] the scene
Collectively absurdThey're looking for Jesus, they're looking for more
Just what are they looking up here to me for
They're looking for someone, they're looking for Christ
They're looking for some human sacrificeIt looks like Jonestown
It looks like Jonestown
It looks like Jonestown
It looks like JonestownThey don't know who to run to
And they don't know where to go
Unless you tell them what to think
They don't know what they knowRepeating the commercial
Or something they have heard
From someone, not they, someone else

Somebody good with wordsI think they're looking for an answer, they're looking for more
Just what are they looking up here to me for
They're looking for Jesus, they're looking for Christ
They're looking for some human sacrificeIt looks like Jonestown
It looks like Jonestown
It looks like Jonestown
It looks like JonestownThey are looking for an answer, looking for more
Just what are you looking up here to me for
They're looking for Jesus, they're praying for Christ
They are looking for some human sacrificeIt looks like Jonestown
It looks like Jonestown
It looks like Jonestown
It looks like JonestownJonestown
Jonestown
Jonestown

Shame Club is a ROCK-N-ROLL band.
PERIOD. A real honest to god American ROCK-N-ROLL band. Like Aerosmith when they still did drugs, like Kiss before they took off their makeup or like ZZ Top before MTV. They may look like four guys on their way to a hot dog stand, but they will roll up in the shittiest van you've ever seen and flatten your club. Mixing a love for volume, all things 70’s and the punk rock ethos of Loud Fast Rules, Shame Club comes across as a thundering barrage of their influences. Think Aerosmith playing at the Ramones pace with the guitarist from Thin Lizzy sitting in.
