Jubilation Lyrics

Re-jubilation with some celebration beginning
Total rejection to lies and deception and sinning
Sinners take key
For the life that you lead is deceiving, yeah!
Nothing replaces a man
That embraces believing, no!
People take heart
It's the time to be sport
To be honest
Join the reunion
There's one last communion upon us
Sinners take the key
For the life that you lead is deceiving, yeah!
Nothing replaces a man
That embraces believing, no!
I'm betting, I'm betting on Jesus
I'm hoping, hoping hell freezes

I'm hoping, hoping it just freezes
The devil, the devil
As for the children
God bless and God will
They'd know sorrow
Share the confusion
And life's disillusion tomorrow
Sinners take key
For the life that you lead is deceiving, yeah!
Nothing replaces a man that embraces believing, no!
I'm betting, I'm betting on Jesus
I'm hoping, hoping hell freezes
I'm hoping, hoping it just freezes
The devil, the devil
Re-jubilation with some celebration beginning
Total rejection to lies and deception and sinning
Sinners take key
For the life that you lead is deceiving, yeah!
Nothing replaces a man
That embraces believing, no!

Mance began playing professionally in his early teens and left college in 1947 to join Gene Ammons' band, where he began his recording career. Mance also worked with Lester Young before being drafted into the U.S. Army in 1951. In the 36th Army Band, he served with another notable Jazz musician: Julian "Cannonball" Adderley. After his discharge from the Army in 1953, Mance worked as a sideman and accompanist with musicians such as Dinah Washington, Cannonball Adderley, and Dizzy Gillespie before recording his first album as a leader and forming his own trio in 1961.
