Judas Lyrics

They shut their eyes now that night has fallen
And pray the wolves are kept at bay
For now the mist hangs, arms wide open
Like some cruel depiction of ChristFor now the silence comforts lost souls
Who in this moment hang gracefully
By the dead, hidden by shadows
Who've come to take them in their sleepFalling farther in darkness
Falling farther in darknessEyes wide lacking comprehension
As silhouettes dance in the flames
Their limbs bound by the shadows
That seem to stare back from the pits of blackFor now the silence comforts lost souls
Who in this moment hang gracefully
By the dead, hidden by shadows
Who's screams echo for eternityFalling farther in darkness
Falling farther in darkness
Falling farther in darkness
Falling farther in darknessAwakened by their screams
Like something of a nightmare

Lacking the desire to breathe
Wishing for the endAwakened by their screams
Like something of a nightmare
Lacking the desire to breathe
Wishing for the endWishing for the end
Wishing for the end
Wishing for the end
Wishing for the endThey shut their eyes now that night has fallen
And pray the wolves are kept at bay
For now the mist hangs, arms wide open
Like some cruel depiction of ChristFor now the silence comforts lost souls
Who in this moment hang gracefully
By the dead, hidden by shadows
Who've come to take them in their sleepFalling farther in darkness
Falling farther in darkness
Falling farther in darkness
Falling farther

The Agony Scene was a metalcore band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. The band has released three albums, all on different labels. Their first self titled album was released on Solid State Records, their second, The Darkest Red, was released on Roadrunner Records. They are currently on Century Media, who released their latest album, Get Damned. Since Solid State records is generally considered to be a Christian music label, some people have assumed The Agony Scene to be a Christian band. The band has since confirmed in an interview with HM magazine that they are NOT a Christian band.
