Junco Partner Lyrics

Junco PartnerDown the road come a Junco Partner.
He was loaded, loaded as could be.
He was knocked out, knocked out loaded right now.
And he wabble and wabble, all over the townHe said that 6 months is a heavy sentence
He said one year is a whole lottta time. Whole lotta time
Morn he was gone on ponderosa
Servin' a one year, a one year, a one year and ninety-nine.
One year, a one year, one year and ninety-nine.I said a whisky makes me risky and water makes me dry
My woman won't let me get lonely
She give me heroin heroin, long before I die.
She gives me heroin, she gives me heroin long before I die.Well I'm a running, I'm a running well the voice in my head says
Right now, right now, right now, right now
Right now, right now, gone down loaded
Loaded, loaded loadedIf I had a million dollars, I wanna tell ya'll what I would do.
Well I'm gonna a' roll a' one for my Janco Partner right now, right now, right now
Right now, right now, right down loaded, loaded, loaded, loaded, loaded. He was loaded. Now I'm a rollng down the road get high my Junco Partner
right now, right now, right now.
Knock down, knock down, knock down, loaded

cuz I'm loaded, loaded, loaded, loaded.Yes I am.One billion dollars. Only one billion.
I wanna tell ya let me tell ya what I would do.
I would buy half of the men around Angola
I'd blow a nice sweet bong till 1992.
I'd blow a nice sweet bong till 1992.
Marijuana bong till 1992.I want whisky when I'm thirsty, I want water baby when I'm dry
I want my woman when I'm lonely, I want heroin, heroin, long before I die.
And a little cocaine, a little cocaine, baby on the side.
Down the road a lo come a Janco partner, partner, partner
Knock out, knock out, knocked out loaded. But I loaded, loaded, loaded

James Carroll Booker III (December 17, 1939 – November 8, 1983) was a New Orleans rhythm and blues pianist, organ player and singer, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Booker's unique style combined rhythm and blues with jazz standards. Musician Dr. John described Booker as “the best black, gay, one-eyed junkie piano genius New Orleans has ever produced.” Booker was the son and grandson of Baptist ministers, both of whom played the piano. He spent most of his childhood on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where his father pastored a church.
