Junebug Lyrics

A beautiful woman, she rose
From the smokin' waters of the lake
With a candle that burned in each palm
My teeth each sank gently to the floorBring me some luck little junebug
Your cousins they're gods to the seas
The March afternoons
The sun and the moonBefore I fall asleep
A white blood of wolves must be drained
And that sorry captain howdy
Scatters my bones for the lambsBring me some luck little junebug
Your cousins they're gods to the seas
The March afternoons
The sun and the moon

Grumpy Bear is a two-member collective based out of rural southeastern Arizona. Grumpy Bear's recording compound is nestled at the base of majestic Mount Graham in the draconian heart of the Gila Valley. The local economy is based on the 'Four C's': Cattle, Copper, Cotton, and Corrections, to which Grumpy Bear would like to singlehandedly add a fifth: Caterwauling . Grumpy Bear exclusively writes songs about events/emotions that you may or may not have experienced. Grumpy Bear thanks you for your patronage and implores you to keep a wary eye open for our not-so-secret identities.
