Ka Ta Mava Raibulina - Saucejas

Saucējas is a group of eight women who sing Latvian folk songs in their original dialects and in the traditional manner. Their sound is based on authentic folk singers, archival written and sound recordings. Their first album (2007, under label Lauska) contains songs about rural life from a woman’s perspective: work on the field, the harvest, herding, and wedding customs.
Current lineup: Iveta Tāle, Marianna Auliciema, Kristīne Jansone, Indra Mētra, Zane Pērkone, Signe Pujāte, Vineta Romāne, Vija Veinberga.
