Kalamazoo Lyrics

Ran out of time, running my mouth
Ran up a tab and all the way from Kalamazoo
And on my way back home
I was surely stoned, now I'm sober in my yard
Can't believe I was there, can't believe I've been anywhere elseBut there was a time, I almost forgot
We had been driftin' all the way from Kalamazoo
And I said that I loved you too, all the way back home
There's a old joke, I just made upHow many of me would it take to screw up your life?
One to settle down, one to turn you around
Now I'm sober in my yard
I was gonna say you had to be there
Now I forget that you're still thereSeems like you'd be frozen
Frozen there in time
Waving your goodbye
Up to the skyYour place on the map has faded away
Must've been lost in more than one way
Kalamazoo, don't you know that I've been there too
And it'd put your mind more at ease

If you'd say these words and release
All the way back home

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

A genius amalgamation of guitar rock and bedroom programming, Dykehouse (born Michael Dykehouse) is a one-man army of musical ideas and innovation. Hailing from Kalamazoo, Michigan, Dykehouse went on to start recording IDM-styled tracks in the mid-90s before attending art school. After sending his infamous Diet Glue EP demo to Planet Mu (the label run by Mike Paradinas AKA Mu-Ziq), many of Dykehouse’s collected works were compiled to form his debut album.
