Karla With a K Lyrics

Freedom has its ups and downs
Walk the streets of lonesome town
Try to find some company
Somebody who will talk to meWell I'm here all alone a wind blows home
We'll find it someday
There's no reason to cry for days gone by
Oh, Karla, we can make it if we tryHurricanes and Cadillacs
They run you down and don't look back
Oh where can my salvation be
A tender touch to comfort meBut I'm here all alone a wind blows home
We'll find it someday
There's no reason to cry for days gone by
Oh, Karla, we can make it if we tryNo matter how the wind may blow, you belong to me
Like the mountains to the sky
And you know when I close my eyes, you're the one I see
Oh, Karla, we can make it if we tryOld man river's on the rise
Wash the circles from my eyes
Hurricane is on its way

Oh you can call it Karla, Karla with a KNo matter how the wind may blow, you belong to me
Like the mountains to the sky
And you know when I close my eyes, you're the one I see
Oh, Karla we can make it if we tryOh, Karla we can make it if we try
C'mon, Karla we can make it if we try
Oh, Karla we can make it if we try

The Hooters are an American rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. By combining a mix of rock and roll, reggae, ska and folk music, The Hooters first gained major commercial success in the United States in the mid 1980s due to heavy radio and MTV airplay of several songs including "Day By Day," "And We Danced" and "Where Do The Children Go." Their popularity resulted in the band opening the Philadelphia portion of the Live Aid benefit concert in 1985.
