Kaya Lyrics

Wake up and turn me loose
Wake up and turn me loose
Wake up and turn me loose
For the rain is fallingGot to have kaya now
Got to have kaya now
Got to have kaya now
For the rain is fallingI'm so high, I even touch the sky
Above the falling rain
I feel so good in my neighbourhood, so
Here I come againGot to have kaya now
Got to have kaya now
Got to have kaya now
For the rain is fallingFeelin' irie I
Feelin' irie I
Feelin' irie I
'Cause I have some kaya nowI feel so high, I even touch the sky
Above the falling rain
I feel so good in my neighbourhood, so

Here I come againGot to have kaya now
Got to have kaya now
Got to have kaya now, Lord
For the rain is falling(Kaya now, kaya, kaya) Huh

The Wailers was a ska, rocksteady and reggae group formed in Kingston, Jamaica in 1963, consisting of Junior Braithwaite, Beverley Kelso, Bunny Livingston (aka Bunny Wailer), Robert Nesta Marley (aka Bob Marley), Winston McIntosh (aka Peter Tosh), and Cherry Smith. They were called variously The Teenagers, The Wailing Rudeboys, The Wailing Wailers, and finally The Wailers. By 1966, Braithwaite, Kelso, and Smith had left the band, leaving the trio of Livingston, Marley, and McIntosh.
