Keep It a Secret Lyrics

Its okay
If you need to pretend
For all of your friends
That you don't even miss meIf that's what helps you sleep at night
And it's alright, if you need to be mean
And blame me for everything
And swear that you don't want me
If that's what helps you keep your prideBut I know when you close your door
And I'm not there to make dinner for
And you'll have to eat on your own again
And you'll have to sleep all alone againYou know, honey, you know I know
You'll be wanting me
But I'll keep it a secret
If you need it to beSo it's okay
Not to see me at all
And screen out my phone calls
And swear you never loved meIf that's what gets you through the day
And it's alright

If you found someone new to try to make love to
Make sure you forget me
If it helps to be that way'Cause I know when she's in your bed
And she can't do the things I did
You'll close your eyes and you'll pretend
But that won't be enough and that's whyYou know, honey, you know I know
You'll be wanting me
But I'll keep it a secret
If you need it to be
If you need it to be
If you need it to beIf you need it to be
I'll keep it a secret
If you need it to be, if you need it to be
If you need it to be
I'll keep it a secretIf you need it to be, if you need it to be
If you need it to be
I'll keep it a secret
If you need it to be, if you need, need it to be
If you need it to be
I'll keep it a secret
If you need it to be, yeah
