Killing Me Lyrics

The cars are passing down below
And all that's left of you is all your clothes
You left your key, the TV's on
Our picture's face down by the alarm clock radioThe only thing you ever wanted was for me to be here to stay but now you've gone awayI really don't know if it'd make it all better
But I'll let myself go and put it in a letter to youI know I've been stupid and don't have a reason
But I'm tryin not to ruin the one thing I believe in you
It's killing me, killing you
I remember how you drove me mad
Spend half the night trying to steal it backYou'd leave your rings and jewelry by the bath
Waking up the bed sheet's goneI wish I could pick up the phone and tell you how I'm feeling
The only thing you ever wanted was for me to be here to stay
And tell you how I've changed
But now you've gone away
I'd tell you everythingI really don't know if it'd make it all better
Cause I know I've been stupid and don't have a reason
But I'll let myself go and put it in a letter to you
But I'm tryin not to ruin the one thing I believe in you
It's killing me, killing youCause you're all that I want, (you pleaded)

And you're all that I need (I need it)
Now that you're gone I see itI really don't know if it'd make it all better
But I'll let myself go and put it in a letter to you
Cause I know I've been stupid and don't have a reason
But I'm tryin not to ruin the one thing I believe in, it's you
I really don't know if it'd make it all betterIt's killing me, killing you
But I'll let myself go and put it in a letter to you
Cause I know I've been stupid and don't have a reason
But I'm tryin not to ruin the one thing I believe in you
It's killing me, killing you

Graham Colton Band is an American rock band from the southwest. The band was formed by singer Graham Colton when he began writing and singing songs in his dorm room at Southern Methodist University. Colton's solo acoustic songs wound up on the Internet and a self-titled album soon followed. The band's debut album found their way to the Counting Crows, who asked them to open for them on their 2002 fall tour. Following that tour, many other bands asked the Graham Colton Band to open for them, including Maroon 5, John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, Kelly Clarkson, Better Than Ezra and Guster.
