Kinda Like Love Lyrics

She walked in the bar room,
Not a day over 22,
Heads turned,
Eyes burned,
Temperatures were rising too.
And the loser and the stranger and the man behind the bar.
All agreed she had potential.
And that goddess was not far away.
And the stranger by the station where the waitress pays her.
dues
Was not lookin' for a lover.
Just someone else to use.
It's not a long way from the dance floor to the dark of the.
parking lot
It's kinda like love but it's not.Chorus:
Kinda like love.
So young and tender.
It's kinda like the moves that you used to make but you don't remember.

It's kinda like being 16 and hot.
When you gave it everything you got.
It's kinda like love but it's not.
Ooohhh Oh.Now the stranger.
He walked over just to say, "How do ya do".
He said something about Texas.
But she knew what he was getting too.
And they ordered more tequila while the man behind the bar.
Was talking about a job last year in a town that was not far.
away
Then I walked out of the bar room.
I didn't even turn around.
I guess I knew where they were going to.
I knew what was going down.
It's not a long way from the dance floor to the dark of the.
parking lot
It's kinda like love but it's not.Chorus:
Kinda like love.
So young and tender.
It's kinda like the moves you used to make but you don't remember.
It's kinda like being 16 and hot.
When you were givin everything that you got.
It's kinda like love but it's not.
Oohh no.It's kinda like being 16 and hot lord.
When you gave it everything you got.
Kinda like love but it's not.
Oohhh, no no it's not, Oohhh it's not.
Just a little, Just a little like love.
But it's not.
Oohhh no.

100 Proof Southern Rock, played the way it was meant to be....dripping with Jack Daniels and BBQ Sauce!

The Sam Morrison Band is on a mission. Tired of all the corporate, “politically correct” processed music that is being spoon fed to the public, The Sam Morrison Band is determined to bring back something that is lost on today’s radio……real music. Imagine that; real musicians, playing real songs, with real instruments for real people. No drum loops, no DJ’s, just 100 proof Rock and Roll.

Steeped in the Southern Rock tradition of bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers, The Sam Morrison Band is proud to carry on the message of true American values. Themes such as pride in God, Country, and the American Dream run throughout their music.

The two things you’re not supposed to talk about in polite company are “religion and politics”. On their new CD, “Dig It Or Don’t”, the Sam Morrison Band tackles both head on!

Political Correctness has no place here. Covering everything from Gun Control to The US Military to Baseball Rulings and everything in between, the SMB pulls no punches. The love of God, Country, and the American way of life, run rampant thru the lyrics.

This is a CD Charlie Daniels and Ted Nugent would be Proud of!

Musically it’s all about “100 Proof Southern Rock…dripping with BBQ Sauce”. Boasting a new Three Guitar Line Up the guys are carrying on in the tradition of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Molly Hatchet.
In a time where pop music has all but forgotten the art of the guitar solo, the SMB is more than happy to “show y’all how it’s done!”

Willie Nelson said once “Don’t write a song if you’ve got nothing to say”. “Well we took that to heart”, says Morrison. “We’ve covered a lot of topics that mean a lot to us as a band. Whether you agree with us or not, we’re proud of our stance and we ain’t changing!”

So set back, crank it up loud and Dig It …Or Don’t!

Real Songs, Real Music……………The Sam Morrison Band!

They have had the opportunity to play with many of today's biggest stars including: Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, Marshall Tucker, Diamond Rio, Confederate Railroad. Their debut single, "I Gotta Ride" is quickly becoming a new "Biker Classic"!

The SMB spends most of their time on the west coast, however they have completed successful tours not only in Europe but in the Far East as well.

This band is amazing! Not only do they have their own great music but they play Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allmann Bros, Molly Hatchett, etc...like nobodys business and they do a Bob Seger Tribute that is out of this world! They are a wonderful group of extremely talented people who love what they do!
You can see and hear them on MYSPACE and YOU TUBE...here's a bit from their page:
