Kindergarten Lyrics

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(p) Faith No More
< Mike Bordin: Drums; Roddy Bottum: Keyboards;
Billy Gould: Bass Guitar; Jim Martin: Guitar;
Mike Patton: Vocals >
( Angel Dust [Slash Records, 1992] )
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Return to my own vomit like a dog
Rhymes and giggles muffle the dialogue
Carve my initials in a tree, I will never leave
Maybe one day I'll be royalty
Kingdom
Kindergarten
Born late
Will I graduate?
Drinking fountains are shorter than they used to
The swings on the playground don't even fit me anymore
Folklore: Nobody's supposed to believe in the next grade

WRITE IT A HUNDRED TIMES
Kingdom
Kindergarten
Waiting
Bell's not ringing
Held back again
Everything got quiet suddenly ; no dolby
And the theatre is empty
Film is flapping on the side of the projector
The reel is over
Banished with my sticky shoes and stinging eyes
I'M WALKING OUTSIDE
Kingdom
Kindergarten
Born late
Will I graduate?
Held back again
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fang Island is an American indie rock band formed in Providence, Rhode Island, and based in Brooklyn, New York. The group consists of guitarists Jason Bartell, Chris Georges and drummer Marc St. Sauveur. Their self-titled debut album on Sargent House was released in February 2010. Fang Island began, oddly enough, as an art school project while the band members were attending the prodigious Rhode Island School of Design (also the foundation for Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Les Savy Fav, Lightning Bolt, Six Finger Satellite and the Talking Heads) in 2005.
