It is a cold Christmas Eve.
The tree and presents and the lights.
My heart is still in the silence,
I think back to that perfect night.
So many years have passed.
Christmastime comes and it goes.
If I had one wish this Christmas,
I'd pray that every soul would know
Who is this King of Love,
that You would give your life for me?
You came a baby boy,
and took the world upon Your shoulders.
It is You we adore, our Messiah, Emmanuel.

To hear those words, "It is finished,"
they mean redemption for mankind.
Because I know I'm forgiven,
I give my life to Jesus Christ.
From the baby in Bethlehem,
to the cross at Calvary,
You gave Your one and only son,
so we can live eternally.
He is the Mighty One,
Whom hosts of Angels sing their praise.
Light of the world,
Newborn King,
the Ancient of Days.
It is You we adore, our Messiah, Emmanuel.
Out of Bethlehem,
our Lord was born.

and the shepherds knelt,
