Kiss 'N' Run (1997 Remastered Version) Lyrics

Yeah he took my love And ran Ever since this funny old world began Ever since a woman first met a man The only fella under the sun Is the one who?
ll kiss and run Ever since old Adam first met poor Eve Women sit and cook and whine and men deceive But girls are growing up now they can have fun With someone who?
ll kiss and run But you, wonderful you You wouldn?
t cheat, whatever you do And I know come rain or shine I?
ll be yours and you?
ll be mine Oh when I cuddle closer in your embrace I know love then face to face My heart is beating madly oh honey There?
s no one who?
ll kiss and run But you, wonderful you You wouldn?
t cheat, whatever you do And I know come rain or shine I?
ll be yours and you?
ll be mine Oh when I cuddle closer in your embrace I know love then face to face My heart is beating madly oh honey There?
s no one who?
ll kiss and run

Helen Shapiro is remembered today by younger pop culture buffs as the slightly awkward actress/singer in Richard Lester's 1962 debut feature film, It's Trad, Dad. From 1961 until 1963, however, Shapiro was England's teenage pop music queen, at one point selling 40,000 copies daily of her biggest single, "Walking Back to Happiness," during a 19-week chart run. A deceptively young 14 when she was discovered, Shapiro had a rich, expressive voice properly sounding like the property of someone twice as old, and she matured into a seasoned professional very quickly.
