Schnappi is an alias of a German child singer Joy Gruttman (born 1995), who performed songs about a little crocodile. The song Schnappi was featured in the show Die Sendung mit der Maus. The success of the song was followed by two albums with children's songs written by Iris Gruttmann and Rosita Blissenbach and sung by Joy Gruttman. The song Schnappi reached #1 on the German charts in January 2005. Several remixes of this song were produced by different artists.
