Kyrie Lyrics

The wind blows hard against this mountain side
Across the sea into my soul
It reaches into where I cannot hide
Setting my feet upon the roadMy heart is old it holds my memories
My body burns a gem like flame
Somewhere between the soul and soft machine
Is where I find myself againKyrie Eleison
Down the road that I must travel
Kyrie Eleison
Through the darkness of the night
Kyrie Eleison
Where I'm going will you follow
Kyire Eleison
On a highway in the lightWhen I was young I dreamed of growing old
Of what my life would mean to me
Would I have traveled down my chosen road
Or only wished that I could beYeahKyrie Eleison
Down the road that I must travel

Kyrie Eleison
Through the darkness of the night
Kyrie Eleison
Where I'm going will you follow
Kyire Eleison
On a highway in the lightoh..oh..oh..
oh..oh..oh..
oh..oh..oh..
oh..oh..oh..Kyrie Eleison
Down the road that I must travel
Kyrie Eleison
Through the darkness of the night
Kyrie Eleison
Where I'm going will you follow
Kyire Eleison
On a highway in the lightOh down the road that I must travel
Oh the darkness of the night
Oh I'm going will you follow
On a highway in the light

This album is incorrectly filed. The Missa Luba is a version of the Latin Mass arranged for and performed by an African Choir. It was originally composed by Father Guido Haazen,a missionary who arrived in the Congo in 1953 from Belgium. In 1954 he founded "Les Troubadours du Roi Baudoin" as a choir of 45 boys aged 9 to 14 and 15 teachers from Central School in Kamina. In 1958 the ensemble toured Europe to acclaim, at one point singing with the Vienna Boys Choir. There was a high degree of improvisation in the performances, based around traditional song forms.
