Emma Marrone (born 25 May 1984 in Florence, Italy) is an Italian singer. Born in Florence, has always lived in Aradeo in the province of Lecce. The passion for music has been sent by his father Rosario, guitarist of a band of Aradeo "Karadreon" which started from very young (10–11 years) performing in festivals and in clubs. She graduated from Classical High School. She started her professional musical career in 2003, when she took part to the second italian edition of Popstars (renamed Superstar Tour); Emma won the talent and with Laura Pisu and Colomba Pane she formed the Lucky Star.
