They tried the best they could, but it didn't take long before renegade guitarist Kid Congo Powers and electronic technosex performer Khan succumbed to their pleasure. It`s no wonder Kid's wife is beating the hell out of Khan on the cover of his acclaimed album "No Comprendo" (Matador) in may of 2001.

Unlike most sexually charged collaborations, which usually end when the tape stops rolling, this wild romance relocated to Mexico City where something remarkable began to take shape - garage rocker and former Cramps and Gun Club guitarist Congo Powers gets possessed with programming beats. Khan known for countless electronic-dance records lets loose vocally and creates guttural moans with a guitar. Between the pyramids, the tequila, the bullfights and the fistfights they record some new songs. Being swept away on a European tour to promote "No Comprendo" didn' t slow the boys down. Kid & Khan continued writing and recording their own brand of techno-garage-pop-rock in studios across the continent.
