Lava Lamp Lyrics

In the half light of the evening
I can almost see you glow
Can tell by the way you're moving
Time may be right to let you knowYou got many colored halo
The body of Venus, a babe rainbow
And if I come on any closer
I might fall into your silhouetteBut the shape of things
To come is constantly changing
So let it, so let it, so let it flowLa la la la lava lamp
La la la la lava lampIndigo, violet and blue
Can we meet where the edges blur?
'Cause I am coming at you
Like a bug eye heading for the burnTruth is, I can't stay away
No, I wanna let you light my volcano
And maybe it's just in my imagination
But you never know'Cause the shape of things
To come is constantly changing
So let it, so let it, so let it flowLa la la la lava lamp

I'd love to turn you on
La la la la lava lamp
I'd love to turn you onLa la la la lava lamp
I'd love to turn you on
La la la la lava lamp
I'd love to turn you onSo let it, so let it
So let it, so let itLa la la la lava lamp
I'd love to turn you on
La la la la lava lamp
I'd love to turn you onLa la la la lava lamp
I'd love to turn you on
La la la la lava lamp
I'd love to turn you on

There are at least three bands with this artist name.

I) A melodic punk/hardcore band from Sydney, Australia which existed in early 2000s. Releasing 3 EPs & 1 Album. Members went on to form the bands Call The Medic, Call The Nurse!! & Septembers Silence.

II) An old-school style Christian punk band on the Bulletproof (sometimes known as Bulletboy) label.
They released a self-titled album in 1997. The next year, they morphed into noise/hardcore/punk/crust band World Against World.

III) An independent Four piece band from Essex, England formed in the early 1990's who play (in their own words) "Indie style songs with a Mod twist." The band were always a crowd pulling raw live act that could never unfortunately capture that atmosphere in the studio. The members have now gone their separate ways.

Jim Ferry: Guitar and lead vocals.
Born in the east end of London, Jim quickly discovered a love of 1960's music and pop art culture. Learning to play the guitar so he could emulate his heroes, John Lennon & Steve Marriott he started to write songs at an early age. Jim played in several bands around London and Essex. He met Andy while working in Barking and they formed 'The Obvious Wigs'. He has a self confessed love affair with Rickenbackers and Lambrettas.

Jason Dunn: Bass and vocals
Born in Jersey before moving to the east end of London where he met Andy Donovan at the age of 14. Jason learned to play the guitar, and is a huge fan of The Inspiral Carpets. Switching to bass guitar, Jason joined Spudgun and was the force behind the group being brought up to date.

Andy Donovan: Drums and vocals.
Born in Ilford in Essex, Andy became interested in music at an early stage. Turning his attention to the drums he formed the band 'The obvious Wigs' with Jim Ferry. Andy has a passion for all types of music, from 'Guns & Roses' to 'The Cult', 'Go West' to 'The Jam'. However his real influence is Keith Moon from The Who.

James Park: organist.
Like Andy, James met Jim whilst working in Barking, and has various musical tastes ranging from Pink Floyd through to The Beatles.
