Lay All Your Love On Me Lyrics

You werent jealous before we met
Now every woman you see is a potential threat
Now youre possessive, it isnt nice
You used to say that smoking was your only viceBut now it isnt true
Now anythings new
And all Ive learned
Has overturned
What I think of youDont go wasting your emotion
Lay all your love on meI used to think love was sensible
It makes the truth even more incomprehensible
I still dont know what youve done to me
A grown-up boy should never fall so easilyI feel a kind of fear
When I dont have you near
Unsatisfied
I swallow my pride
I beg you, dearDont go wasting your emotion
Lay all your love on me
Dont go sharing your devotion

Lay all your love on meDont go wasting your emotion
Lay all your love on me
Dont go sharing your devotion
Lay all your love on me

Information Society (aka Insoc), is a Minneapolis, MN, USA band, consisting of Kurt Harland (aka Kurt Valaquen, nee Kurt Larson), Paul Robb & James Cassidy; the latter two reconvened the band, in 2006. Their breakout hit was 1988's What's on Your Mind (Pure Energy), a dance hit which included a sample of Leonard Simon Nimoy (as Spock, of Star Trek), saying "pure energy" & opened with a sample of Jackson DeForest Kelley (as Leonard McCoy, also Star Trek), saying, "It's worked so far, but we're not out yet!"
