Black Light Dinner Party are an electronic band from Brooklyn, United States consisting of Dan, Jack, Zach, and Joel. The members was originally playing music mainly influenced by the experimental grime/glitch/funk of Flying Lotus, but when Jack found out that his mother had breast cancer, they decided to make music that was more accessible "for people like my mom. That's when we started working on tracks and writing songs. Then my mom died.
