Pretendo is a three piece indie-rock band from NYC featuring; Stephen Calhoon on drums & vocals (formerly of Skeleton Key, Mono Puff, Enon); John Castro on bass & vocals (formerly of The Rugburns, Daoson For); and Devon E. Levins on guitar & vocals (formerly of Creedle, aMiniature, Daoson For). Formed in 2004, they released their self-titled debut recorded at Fun City by Wharton Tiers (Helmet, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr.) on Country Club in 2005.
