Let The Rain Come Down Lyrics

I'd never change a single thing I've done
I'll pack my bags and say I'm on my way back now
Just keep the trains long, long, loves distance far from me
I'm on my way
I'm on my way
I'm on my way back homeLet the rain come down
Let the rain come down
Come down on me
Come down
Let it come downHow could I hold you in so close
And how could I not let anybody know
How sweet it is to call your name
If you loved me once
Would it be the sameThe smell of love
Is fresh inside my heart
And not all the things we've learned
To tear us both apart
What I feel now tells me I must go

I'm not who you love anymore

Toni Childs was born in Orange, California, but was moved to several small towns in Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma and Nevada during her childhood. At the age of 15, Childs ran away from home and became a blues musician. In 1972, Childs saw Pink Floyd in concert, and afterwards decided to pursue a career as a singer-songwriter. Childs joined the band Berlin in 1979, but left to form her own group before the recording of Berlin's first album. Toni Childs and the Movers, which included Jack Sherman and Micki Steele, toured for two years but did not release an album.
