Let Your Body Learn Lyrics

Fast beat the feet, fast fall the hands
Fast beat the feet, fast fall the handsMelody in the music, the music of drums
Melody in the music, the music of drums
Choose the fast beat, choose the hard line
Choose the fast beat, choose the hard lineTry show us one better
Not sick to the heart
Not calling with fleshSuffer little children, suffer little children
Suffer little children, written in painBoys at one, girls at peace
Boys at one, girls at peace
Boys at one, girls at peace
Boys at one, girls at peaceFast beat the feet, fast fall the hands
Fast beat the feet, fast fall the handsHold onto rhythm, the music of drums
Hold onto rhythm, the music of drumsThe pulse is alive, making me saneLet your body learn, let your body build
Let your body learn, let your body buildSuffer little children, suffer little children
Suffer little children, the pulse is aliveFast beat the feet, fast fall the handsBoys at one, girls at peace
Boys at one, girls at peace
Boys at one, girls at peace
Boys at one, girls at peaceFreedom from fear, giving release

Freedom from fear, giving release
Giving release, giving a heartFast beating feet, fast falling hands
Fast beating feet, fast falling handsFast beat the feet, fast fall the hands
Choose, fast beat the feet
Choose, fast fall the hands, feel, chooseLet your body learn, let your body build
Let your body learn, let your body buildChoose, learn, build
Choose, learn, build
Choose, learn, build, choose, oh

Formed in Chelmsford when main protagonists Douglas McCarthy (vocals) and Bon Harris (drums, programming) were just 15, Nitzer Ebb cut a dynamic swathe through the electronic music and Balaeric beat scenes of the 1980s and 90s. They were electro-punks before the genre even existed, at a time when The Prodigy were not even a gleam in fellow Essex boy Liam Howlett's eye. Militaristic, intimidating yet always accessible, Nitzer Ebb enjoyed a string of ferocious club hits and released five critically acclaimed albums on Mute.
