Let Your Mind Rot Lyrics

You lost your whole family
In this religious war
The brutal truth hits hard
Your mind is your worst enemyYou don't believe in justice
Suffering the aimless decay
Too much for one life to take
Life without senseThe logical consequence
Is to let your mind die
Inflammation of your soul
Generation of the stillbornPrepare yourself to the slaughter
Stepping pain cuts energy
The only relief is your fuckin' dope
Shooting love in your arm gives you hopeIn this living hell
Hallucinations will rise
Hellish existence
Bloodbath in paradiseLet your mind rot
A dying horizon
In a world without GodsLet your mind rot

This enemy torments you
You better get shotWords without meaning
Bloodletting sacrifice
Loneliness
Selecting of the lost soulsHate destroys human nature
Clot of blood
Bloodbath in paradise
Hallucinations will riseIn this living hell
Hallucinations will rise
Hellish existence
Bloodbath in paradiseLet your mind rot
A dying horizon
In a world without GodsLet your mind rot
This enemy torments you
You better get shotA living hell
[Incomprehensible]
Break the spell
Hell is confusionLet your mind rot
In this living hell
Hallucinations will riseLet your mind rot
Hellish existence
Bloodbath in paradiseLet your mind rot
A dying horizon
In a world without GodsLet your mind rot
This enemy torments you
You better get shot

Destruction are a German thrash metal band formed in Lörrach, Germany in 1982. They are considered one of the "three kings" of the Teutonic thrash metal scene; the others being Kreator and Sodom. They were first known as Knight Of Demon with the original line-up being vocalist and bassist Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer, drummer Tommy Sandmann, and guitarist Mike Sifinger. They changed their name to Destruction in 1984 and released a demo titled "Bestial Invasion of Hell". After this, the group signed with Steamhammer Records and released an EP titled "Sentence Of Death" later that year.
