The EVA (or group known as Banda EVA) is a band of Bahian axé music that has great success during the 1990s, under the voice of Ivete Sangalo, through Emanuelle Araújo and currently, the EVA has the lead singer Saulo Fernandes. EVA The band emerged in 1993 from the block carnavalesco soteropolitano homonym. At the end of the 1970s, a group of friends, members of the Marist College community of El Salvador, met every week-end to chat and sing.
