Leviathan Rising - Swartalf

Swartalf is a project from Germany. Probably on purpose, the band remains somewhat of a mystery. The only known member is named Count Ycklagh, but it is generally accepted that musicians from some famous black metal bands were involved.
The debut album, "Candles Burning Blue", released in 1996, was an impressive combination of ambient electronics, neoclassical strings and a touch of droning black metal riffing.
