Gitte Haenning (Born: 29. June 1946) is a Danish singer. She had her first hit as 8-year-old with the song Marry daddy, where she sang a duet with her father, bandleader Otto Haenning. Since it was a shoal of pophits in the light genre, and Gitte fertilized soil to a large and sustained careers in topartist GermanyWithout forgetting its audience in Denmark, where she still has many fans. Gitte Haenning has recorded discs in Danish, Swedish, Finnish, English, German and Dutch.
