Lighthouse Lyrics

Lighthouse tall and grand
Standing on that cold headlandShine your light across the seaFor a wayward sailor girl like meLighthouse manGuide this sailor back to landSteer my ship on through the stormBack to water safe and calmSometimes I need a lighthouse for my ownIt gets so dark I can't see which way I'm goingOh lighthouse man I'm all at seaShine a little lighthouse light on meLighthouse man I'm all at seaShine a little lighthouse light on meLighthouse man can't help us allSome he'll save and some will fallHe'll show you where the danger liesBut he can't help it if you capsizeSteer your own ship back to shore
He'll light your way but that is allThis sea is full of misery and woe
Won't you light my lonely way back homeThey don't need no light to light their wayOh woe betide those that sayThey think they're safe enough on their own
Drown in murky depths belowWe all need a lighthouse for our ownIt gets so dark I can't see which way I'm going
Oh lighthouse man I'm all at seaShine a little lighthouse light on me
