Like I Know This Town Lyrics

I know everything between these city limit signs
And every run down outskirt bar
Who's gonna be getting right tonight
Straight away where the cops won't be
You can rev it up and let it run free
That's enough about meI wanna know you like I know this town
Every shortcut, back road, every long way around
Like every bullet hole stop sign
Like every main street red light
Where to go fast, where to go slow
Baby I wanna know
I wanna know you like I know this town
Like I know this townThere's a little spot not too far out
Where everybody goes, nobody talks about
When that hideaway sun sinks low
Come closer baby, let your hair down
You can go on and on
What you love and what you don't

We've got all night longI wanna know you like I know this town
Every shortcut, back road, every long way around
Like every bullet hole stop sign
Like every main street red light
Where to go fast, where to go slow
Baby I wanna know
I wanna know you like I know this town
Like I know this town
Like I know this townIf anybody knows this town
Girl I know this town
Like every bullet hole stop sign
Like every main street red light
Where to go fast, where to go slowI wanna know you like I know this town
Every shortcut, back road, every long way around
Like every bullet hole stop sign
Like every main street red light
Where to go fast, where to go slow
Baby I wanna know
I wanna know you like I know this town
(...I wanna know you like I know this town...)
I wanna know you like I know this town
Yeah
Like I know this town

Dean Brody (born in Jaffray, British Columbia) is a Canadian country music artist. Signed to Broken Bow Records in 2008, Brody made his debut late that year with the single "Brothers". This song, a Top 40 country hit in both Canada and the US, is the first single from his debut album, released in 2009 under the production of Matt Rovey.

Dean Brody was born in Jaffray, British Columbia, Canada.[2] As a boy, Brody worked at a sawmill, also playing guitar in his spare time. By 2004, he had moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue his musical career. Although he found a songwriting contract, the expiration of his US work permit forced him to move back to Canada. Eventually, he returned to Nashville through the suggestion of producer Keith Stegall, who helped him sign with Broken Bow Records in 2008.[2] Brody released his debut single, "Brothers", late that year. Shortly before its release, Brody was injured in a waterskiing accident.[3]
