THE MODERN MEN are a band based in Halifax and Toronto that write groove-based synth pop with rootsy, organic inflections. The main songwriters are Fionn Chin-Yee, Jonah Bernstein and Seth Bernstein, and their live show includes Tim Baker, Glenn Austin, Lu Lu Healy, and Mike Farrington. THE MODERN MEN believe in what they call "multi-sensualism" --- the feeling of wanting to dance, kiss, and cry all at the same time. Their music serves this goal.
