Loch Lomond Lyrics

By yon bonnie banks and by yon bonnie braes,
Where the sun shines bright on Loch Lomond.
Where me and me true love spent many days
On the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.Too sad we parted in yon shady glen,
On the steep sides of Ben Lomond.
Where the broken heart knows no second spring,
Resigned we must be while were parting.Youll take the high road and Ill take the low road,
And Ill be in Scotland before you.
Where me and my true love will never meet again,
On the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.Ho, ho mo leannan
Ho mo leannan bhoidheach
(repeat x 8)You'll take the high road and I'll take the low road,
And I'll be in Scotland before ye.
Where me and my true love will never meet again,
On the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. You'll take the high road and I'll take the low road,
And I'll be in Scotland before you.
Where me and my true love will never meet again,
On the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. You'll take the high road and I'll take the low road,

And I'll be in Scotland before you.
Where me and my true love will never meet again,
On the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. You'll take the high road and I'll take the low road,
And I'll be in Scotland before you.
Where me and my true love will never meet again,
On the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. On bonnie, bonnie banks
repeat x 9Hey, Hey, Hey

Even before the formation of the band its members have been friends for a long time. Each of them already had experience in different styles of music through various projects and on stage.

The idea to create the Cobblestones arose from countless jam-sessions in which it soon was clear that out of a huge repertoire folk was the most fun. The special atmosphere and a bit of wanderlust which naturally comes from that music just perfectly fit into the way of life the members of the band prefer. More and more sessions took place and in no time the Cobblestones were born.
