Logical Progression Lyrics

(new perceptions)You say her love has gone forever
And something has
Gone from your soul
It's left you so cold
Though you wish
You had the answer
The question is always untold
Always on hold
What's in the mirror
What do you seeIt's a logical progression
When you think that
You lost all that time
It's all in your mind
What's in the mirror
What do you seeLay down now and close your eyes
It's only just begun
'cause mind and body
Flow in perpetual motion

Set free all your memories
They're tearing you apart
'cause you know that
Love is the only directionThat reputation that you live by
Says something about what's inside
Nowhere to hide
There is no amount of heartache
That could ever
Wash over this burning
Forever learning
Look in the mirror
Will you do it all againYou got time on your side
You know you'll find
The truth within you
You got time on your side
As the seconds tick away
Love is waiting for you
You got time on your sideYou say her love has gone forever
And the image has left you so cold
Still in your soul
There's no way
You're gonna turn back
You'll never wash over this burning
Forever learning
Look in the mirror
Will you do it all againLay down now and close your eyes
It's only just begun
'cause mind and body
Flow in perpetual motionYou got time on your side
As the seconds tick away
Love is waiting for you

Uriah Heep is a British rock band, officially formed in 1969 in London, England, when record producer Gerry Bron invited keyboardist Ken Hensley (previously a member of The Gods and Toe Fat) to join Spice, members of whom included soon-to-become Heep stalwarts David Byron (vocals) and Mick Box (guitar). The band rapidly grew to become a seminal classic hard rock act of the 1970s and beyond. Their distinctive progressive/art rock/heavy metal fusion has always featured a massive keyboards sound, strong vocal harmonies and (in the early years) David Byron's operatic vocals.

Sometimes jokingly referred to as "The Beach Boys of heavy metal" for their melodic songs, and trademark multi-part harmony backing vocals, although their music draws on diverse influences including psychedelia, gothic sound, progressive rock, hard rock, early heavy metal, jazz, and even country on occasion.

Uriah Heep remains active, its lineup staying steady from 1986 to 2007, when drummer Lee Kerslake left for health reasons, and was replaced by Russell Gilbrook. The current lineup is: Mick Box (guitar, vocals), Trevor Bolder (bass, vocals), Phil Lanzon (keyboards, vocals), Bernie Shaw (lead vocals), and Russell Gilbrook (drums, vocals).
