Look Over Yonders Wall Lyrics

Look over yonders wall and hand me down my walking cane
Well, I got myself a woman, yonder come your manI'm in love with you pretty baby, you don't treat me right,
You take all my money and walk the streets at night
Look over yonders wall, ah, hand me down my walking cane
Well, I got myself a woman, yonder come your manYour man went to the wall,
I know that he was rough
I don't know how many men he killed,
I know he killed enoughLook over yonders wall and hand me down my walking cane
Well, I got myself a woman, yonder come your man

The Paul Butterfield Blues Band was signed to Elektra Records after adding Michael Bloomfield as lead guitarist. Their original debut album was scrapped, then re-recorded after the addition of organist Mark Naftalin. Finally, their self-titled debut, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, was released in 1965. It had an immediate impact, serving as a wakeup call for a generation of musicians. {...the above is a pathetic and perfunctory facsimile of the biographical tribute this illustrious band deserves.
