Lookin' Out My Back Door Lyrics

Just got home from Illinois, lock the front door, oh boy
Got to sit down, take a rest on the porch
Imagination sets in, pretty soon I'm singin'
Doot doot doot lookin' out my back doorThere's a giant doing cartwheels, a statue wearing high heels
Look at all the happy creatures dancing on the lawn
Dinosaur Victrola, listenin' to Buck Owens
Doot doot doot lookin' out my back doorTambourines and elephants are playin' in the band
Won't you take a ride on the flyin' spoon
Doot doo doo doo
Wondrous apparition provided by magician
Doot doot doot lookin' out my back doorTambourines and elephants are playin' in the band
Won't you take a ride on the flyin' spoon
Doot doot doot
Bother me tomorrow, today I'll find no sorrow
Doot doot doot lookin' out my back doorForward troubles Illinois, lock the front door, oh boy
Look at all the happy creatures dancing on the lawn
Bother me tomorrow, today I'll buy no sorrows
Doot doot doot lookin' out my back door
