DJ Genesis began her career spinning at local nightclubs at the age of 19. Since then she has been showcased at festivals and clubs througout the US. and Canada. In 1999 she founded the "Set It Off" tour that featured female dj's from Chicago, NY, and Houston. "The Set It Off tour was an outlet for female dj's who had been in the scene for awhile but never recieved the props they deserved.
